Hyderabad: With recent investments across segments, Telangana is expected to receive about Rs 250 crore in visual effects, animation, gaming, and allied segments this year. Media and entertainment segments have been badly affected by Covid and are now returning to normal.
“Hyderabad is becoming a hub for animation, VFX, and e-sports. At the ongoing industry event IndiaJoy, deals worth more than $ 30 million are being discussed,” said Rajiv Chilaka, president of Telangana VFX, Animation and Gaming Association (TVAGA) and CEO of Green Gold Animations.
